Why is there a monthly fee?
Your care plan covers hosting, SSL, backups, security and uptime checks, form monitoring, technical fixes, support, and 2, 5 or 10 update requests every month depending on your package. Instead of learning a website builder, you just text or email us.
When does the monthly care plan start?
30 days after your website goes live. Not when you sign up, and not at your deposit. We'll let you know before the first care charge.
Will a new website get me more customers?
Your site is built to help people trust you and make it easy for them to contact you. We set up foundational Google and SEO basics, but we can't promise rankings, traffic or sales, and we won't pretend to.
Do I have to get on a call?
No. Once you're a customer, you can do everything by text or email: the questionnaire, your preview, changes and approval. If you'd like a quick call, we're happy to do that too.
What does "5 days or less" mean exactly?
For Starter sites, it's 5 business days. The clock starts once we have your completed questionnaire and everything we need, and it depends on you getting back to us on time with feedback and approval.
What counts as one update request?
One batch of changes you send us at once, even if it touches several parts of your site. For example, new hours, a few photo swaps and updated prices in one message is one request. Fixing our own mistakes never counts.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your name, and you get the agreed website files after your final payment. If you'd rather host it yourself, we offer a handoff. Ongoing support ends once the handoff is done.
